◇Personnel; Gary Moore (guitar, vocals)
Vic Martin (keyboards)
Pete Rees (bass) & Steve Dixon (drums)
In April 2010, Gary Moore returned to Japan for the first time in 21 years. His "one and only" and intense guitar playing made fans realize that categorizing his music as "blues" or "hard rock" is virtually meaningless. Of the five shows during his tour, three in Tokyo were completely recorded with ultra-high-quality audience recordings. Held at three venues with completely different capacities and acoustics, each performance is unique in its own way, even in terms of sound quality. This is a coupling album of three titles: "Rainy Day Tokyo Blues #1" which features the Shibuya AX performance on April 22nd, "Rainy Day Tokyo Blues #2" which features the JCB Hall performance on April 27th, and "Rainy Day Tokyo Blues #3" which features the Tokyo International Forum performance on April 28th. Please see the explanation for each title for details.
