Take that one to the Japanese heart! The raging roar of real rock reverberates throughout Port Island! Act 2: Kobe, the long-awaited arrival of an astonishing multi-IEM full matrix version!
The second installment in the definitive series from the XAVEL label's "NOT IN THIS LIFETIME" Japan tour! The second Kansai leg of the tour, which moved from Kyocera Dome Osaka to Kobe World Memorial Hall, is now fully recorded with astonishing miracle sound! This is a multi-stereo IEM matrix sound source by the familiar XAVEL. The sound quality of this title, which has been finished with an exquisite sound balance that is comparable to that of the highly acclaimed Osaka performance full matrix version, is as incredible as that of the finest stereo soundboard recording.
In contrast to the Osaka performance full matrix version, which featured the solid songs of the "Appetite For Destruction" period with its "violently exquisite sound" that made Axel and Slash spark, this Kobe performance features all of the sounds produced by the entire band, down to the smallest details such as the synthesizers and multiple choruses played by Dizzy & Melissa, recorded with an outstanding balance, allowing you to enjoy the masterpiece-oriented songs of the "Use Your Illusion" period such as "Estranged" and "Coma" with superb sound quality. Of course, Axel's voice on the off-air microphone, which "shouldn't be heard," has been neatly omitted, and the vocal dropouts that occurred in "Sweet Child O' Mine" and "November Rain" at the Osaka show were also completely absent in this performance, so we can confidently say that this is a masterpiece with a flawless, flawless finish!
The Kobe performance, the second day of the tour, basically followed the same stage flow as the previous day's Osaka show, but the encore part was replaced with "Sorry" and "Don't Cry," and Duff's solo was replaced with "New Rose," suggesting that the band was probably thinking of these two Kansai days as a complete show. And above all, one song not to be missed is the surprise song of the day, "Out Ta Get Me." This killer tune vividly embodies the spirit of GNR and Axl Rose in their street days, and although it wasn't included in the pre-prepared setlist, Axl Rose requested that it be included at the end of "Sweet Child O' Mine."
