In January 2017, the "Not in This Lifetime Tour" finally arrived in Japan! The long-awaited second day of the tour, the Kobe performance, has been completely captured in a premium audience recording! This ultra-high-quality professional sound source is delivered to you first by the well-known XAVEL label! The powerful original audience master recorded in front of the venue's VIP standing block is used as the main source. Furthermore, the IEM source used by Axel is partially mixed to enhance the sound image. This supreme live document boasts a clear, direct, and ideal sound balance that makes it hard to believe it was recorded in that large venue!
Now, this Kobe performance was moved from its premiere stage in Osaka. Compared to the previous day's live performance at Kyocera Dome, the audience seemed somewhat calmer, resulting in a more subdued recording with less audience noise. The set list also included the addition of "Ouut Ta Get Me," and Duff's solo and encore parts were swapped out, resulting in a passionate performance of over two and a half hours, even longer than the previous day! After two consecutive Kansai performances ended with great success, expectations are building for the Yokohama and Tokyo shows.
The XAVEL label is also planning to release a full-scale IEM matrix sound source shortly, but due to the enormous amount of time required for production, we hope you will enjoy this "otherworldly audience sound source" for the time being.
