In January 2017, the "Not in This Lifetime Tour" finally arrived in Japan! The highly anticipated final Tokyo performances are fully recorded in premium audience recordings! This ultra-high-quality professional recording is brought to you by the well-known XAVEL label! For both shows, the powerful original audience master recorded in front of the venue's VIP standing block was used as the main source, with the IEM source used by Axl partially mixed in to enhance the sound image. The result is a supreme live documentary boasting an ideal sound balance that's clear and direct, making it hard to believe it was recorded in such a large venue!
After touring Osaka, Kobe, and Yokohama, the band finally arrived for their final two-day Tokyo performance. Anticipation was building as the band, led by Axl, continued to improve, and the result was a stunning performance that could be called the highlight of this tour, unfolding night after night.
