Live In Dallas July 14, 1984
Michael Jackson's first appearance before fans in two years since the landmark album "Thriller" was on the Jacksons' Victory Tour. Although Michael didn't particularly want this tour, his brother Jermaine, who was still with Motown, joined the band. This was his final appearance as both the Jacksons and the Jackson 5, and it became a crucial foundation for Michael's future solo tours. The only live performance from this precious tour featuring Eddie Van Halen was this July 14, 1984, Dallas performance. This newly released remastered footage, obtained through a private source, is a professional shot. While the original master recording is in sparse condition, Michael's joyous performance with Eddie on "Beat It" is undoubtedly a tour highlight. The recording also features a rare Jacksons number, a solo segment by Jermaine Jackson, and the Michael and Jermaine duet "Tell Me I Am Not Dreamin'" is a rare and exclusive performance exclusive to this tour. Also included is a bonus video of the time Michael Jackson suffered head burns while filming a Pepsi commercial as part of the Victory Tour.
