Several years have passed since Joe's untimely death at the age of 50 in December 2002... Reevaluation of Joe's accomplishments, and respect for his music and attitude, continue. This 1999 live performance at Rockpalast was recorded in full pro-shot. Moving away from the early Clash sound, the band's later pop sound incorporated elements of world music. The live footage also shows Joe simply enjoying music with the Mescaleros. His message of world peace, which he has championed since his Clash days, remains relevant today.
