Megadeth's memorable first visit to Japan in 1987, held in Tokyo for just two days after the release of "Peace Sells...Who's Buying," features a live performance at Shibuya Public Hall on April 3rd, the final day of the tour, recorded in full with a stunningly high-quality audience recording that surpasses the immediate release by three levels. This is the first release of this recording, directly from the original cassette master, which has never been available online or among traders. While a recording of the previous day's performance was released several years ago, this newly unearthed master recording offers a powerful, high-quality recording that is incomparable to the previous one, clocking in at approximately 78 minutes. As you know, this was the only time the original members visited Japan, making it extremely rare. The band plays all songs from their first and second albums, creating an overwhelming sense of speed that is unique to this period.
