The Archive Series, which began in 2022 and continues to upgrade and refine Miles Davis recordings, has now entered its 2026 upgraded version.
Next up is a recording from a live performance at the Greek Theatre in 1982. It's a mix of a short recording with good sound quality and a longer recording with slightly lower sound quality but nearly the full length. Making full use of the high-quality recordings, the album features "BACK SEAT BETTY," "IFE," "AIDA," and "FAT TIME." The band's warm-up section and "JEAN PIERRE" have been supplemented with the slightly lower-quality recordings to create a nearly complete set. Both recordings have been remastered, and the transitions have been carefully processed to create a seamless experience, resulting in a quality that can be enjoyed from start to finish without any noticeable issues unless you listen carefully.
