This title features a two-day recording from the Osaka Festival Hall concerts from the band's 1983 Japan tour. This completes the Stargazers label's archive of the 1983 Japan tour. Both of the coupled Osaka performances are high-quality audience recordings, and frankly, there's not much that could be called a major upgrade; the hiss has been reduced and the performances have been "tweaked." This was a time when Mike Stern, John Scofield, and Mark Ford alternated between playing guitar, making this a rare twin-guitar lineup since the band's revival in 1981.
