The latest installment in the acclaimed "RECORDING VAULT" series, which has released rare, never-before-seen recordings, is this release, capturing Wings' early 1972 college tour and accompanying rehearsals. Due to the era, few recordings remain, and only two performances from the college tour are known. This release features the opening performance at the University of Nottingham, as well as a pre-tour rehearsal at the ICA in London.

The main focus of Disc 1 is a tour rehearsal held at the ICA Studios in London on February 1, 1972. This was a rehearsal for Wings' first tour, just one week away. While short, fragmentary recordings have been available in the past, the material on this release is unprecedented, featuring a greater number of tracks and longer recording times.

The main focus of Disc 2 is the tour's first performance at Nottingham University on February 9, 1972. While this recording has been known for a long time, an incredibly high-quality source was unearthed in 2025 and uploaded to YouTube. While most previously released tracks have been borrowed from YouTube, this release is recorded from a uniquely sourced raw source. The YouTube recordings have been edited, and all titles based on them have been included as is. However, this release is unique in that it is the precious raw source from which they were originally recorded, recorded unedited. In terms of both sound quality and content, it is unlikely to be better.

"Wild Life," which opens Disc 1, is a never-before-seen take without overdubs. The tracks at the end of each disc are also recorded from multi-track tape, also appearing for the first time.

In addition to the raw source of the Nottingham University performance on the first day of the 1972 Wings University Tour, this is a valuable record of the early days of Wings that will surprise and delight fans, as it also includes the first appearance of tour rehearsal recordings.
