Housequake (MVSEP Remaster)
This is an after-show from the Berlin show of the Sign O' The Times tour. While the content itself is excellent, the poor sound quality significantly held it back. It wasn't a complete recording, there were audio dropouts, and there was noticeable tape hiss.
A remaster of that recording is included in the following titles:
Prince/Berlin Times (4CDR)

However, this time, the remaster by io has achieved even higher quality. The cheers are certainly present, but they feel more like after-show excitement. While there's a slight rumble, there's no hiss, and Prince's vocals and background music are prominently featured. This is a truly enjoyable remaster. Additionally, funksoulmusic has applied noise reduction between tracks where possible.
You're drawn in from the opening track, Prince's "Purple House," rather than Jimi Hendrix's "Red House." The Prince-inspired funk track "Body Heat," more like a James Brown cover than a Prince-inspired track, features a strong jazz influence and is a truly cool performance. The 15-minute track flies by. The beautiful cover of the Temptations' "Just My Imagination" is also a piano-driven, jazzy track, and Prince's falsetto is so captivating it's almost tear-jerking. "It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night" also features stunning jams, including "Six." Bonus features include a different remaster of "Housequake," separated using software called mvsep.
