A new 2009 release from AudioFon, a Yellow Dog subsidiary! This "Sgt." album was created using a variety of sources and mixes. The mix is noteworthy. Contrary to the initial information, the main focus was on "the entire Sgt. Pepper album in an alternate, unbootlegged form." This is a new album mix of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," created using a variety of existing sources and mixes, both official and unofficial. It also makes effective use of four multi-track tracks leaked in 2007, making for a highly enjoyable experience. The bonus features are broadcast recordings from around the time of the album's release, including the BBC's "Where It's At" special on Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, which aired in 1967, as well as interviews from earlier periods. The recordings are longer and of improved quality than those previously included on Yellow Dog's "Broadcast Collection Trailer 2" and Strawbery's "Mythology," giving you a sense of the atmosphere surrounding Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in the UK over 40 years ago.
