This is the first-ever master recording of the 1997 BTB tour, the opening night in Oakland on November 14th! This superb sound quality disc features the label's unique digital remastering on a new master that has recently been released online and is generating a lot of buzz. The sound source is recorded very close to the audience, resulting in excellent sound quality comparable to recent audience recordings! The high frequencies, which were somewhat harsh on the ears in the original master, have been mellowed through equalization, each instrument has been sufficiently enhanced, and of course, the overall sound pressure has been increased! The wild Bay Area Oakland opening stage is revived after more than 20 years!
