The Stones' legendary 1969 Hyde Park concert, a historic live performance, is now available in a newly edited, complete version! This legendary concert is well-known on video, but it has been heavily edited. This time, we've utilized all existing audio recordings to recreate the actual concert in its entirety. From the opening announcement to the closing, the entire concert is recorded in the order of performance. From performance parts that were cut during editing to inter-song MCs, this is the longest version available, with the highest quality possible, utilizing multiple soundboard recordings and audience recordings! This legendary performance, a tribute to Brian Jones and the debut of Mick Taylor, was also exceptional. It featured many of the Stones' stage debuts, including classics like "Jumpin' Jack Flash," "Honky Tonk Women," and "Street Fighting Man." It also featured performances of "I'm Yours" and "Down Home Girl," which were only ever performed on this occasion, as well as live staples like "Midnight Rambler" and the ecstatic finale of "Sympathy for the Devil," featuring African drums. This truly legendary concert marked the end of the '60s and the beginning of a new chapter for the Stones! This definitive, newly remastered edition, including extras, documents the entire experience!

[Collector's Point Details]

The '69 Hyde Park concert was officially released, but because it was a documentary that included non-performance footage, there were many sudden changes and cuts due to extensive editing. Furthermore, the soundboard recording, supposedly based on FM broadcast recordings, was incomplete, and the audience recordings were also incomplete. This release recreates the concert as completely as possible using multiple existing recordings. While there are some missing parts, the entire concert, from the opening announcement to the end, is recorded almost entirely uncut, including the performance order and inter-song MCs. By listening closely to the differences between the actual audience source and the soundboard recording, you can clearly hear how much the official editing of songs like "Satisfaction" had altered the sound. Furthermore, compared to previous releases, this latest compilation features more soundboard material and higher quality audio, making it the best available to date. Additionally, it includes edited versions of only the soundboard material, radio specials, and live TV recordings from the same period.
