This show, held at the Marquee Club on March 26, 1971, a familiar venue from their debut days, was recorded for TV broadcast at the time and aired immediately afterward. The CD includes the complete dress rehearsal recording from that broadcast. The recordings of the day included a rehearsal, a dress rehearsal exactly as performed, and the actual live performance. The TV broadcast featured an edited version of the dress rehearsal performance, overlaid with audience cheers. This recording captures the unedited version of the dress rehearsal, allowing for rehearsals and inter-song MCs not included in the TV broadcast. The sound quality is even better than the broadcast version, an upgrade from the previously available recording. Additional live recordings not used in the broadcast have also been included. While numerous video clips have been released, this new collection is a newly remastered, best-of collection. The first release is the rebroadcast version from France, which offers the best picture quality. This version is notable for the unedited recording of "Midnight Rambler," which was slightly shortened in the original broadcast. The original TV version is also recorded in the best possible quality, both in terms of image quality and sound quality. It is completely unedited, without the on-screen text of the rebroadcast. An unedited version of the dress rehearsal performance, identical to the CD version, is also included. Although the image quality here is lower than that of the broadcast video, you can see the "Unedited Long Version" which includes opening scenes different from the original TV version, replays of performances, and MCs between songs.
