The 1973 Hawaii Honolulu concert is now available! This release features a complete recording of the first Hawaii concert on January 21, 1973. While live recordings of this concert have existed before, this is the first time a raw, low-generation master recording, directly copied from the original source, has been released. Despite being an audience recording from the time, it captures the concert almost completely with raw, powerful sound quality. Unfortunately, only an incomplete version of "Jumpin' Jack Flash" from this day remains, and previous releases have been supplemented with audio from the following day's concert. This release also uses a similar method, but features new restoration work and original editing. With its surprising rare arrangement of "It's All Over Now," "Live With Me" (a song they would no longer perform), and "Sweet Virginia" with altered lyrics referring to the local city of Honolulu, this concert is full of highlights and not to be missed among the many performances from 1973. The release also includes a radio broadcast announcement of the Hawaii concert at the time. The first in our Archives series, delivered with the highest level of master audio ever!
