The GOLDPLATE label is releasing a 50th anniversary collector's edition of "Satanic Majesties," the Rolling Stones' 1967 album, released during the heyday of psychedelia, following in the footsteps of the Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's." While the album was met with mixed reviews from the get-go, reaching #3 in the UK and #2 in the US, and including classics like "She's a Rainbow" and "2000 Light Years Away," "Satanic Majesties" is a seminal 1960s Stones album featuring Nicky Hopkins on piano, John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin, and John and Paul from the Beatles.

This ultimate collector's edition, delivered on 2 CDs, includes all the previously unreleased, rare session recordings and the latest edited footage.

The two-CD set features carefully selected, reconstructed and remixed recordings from the vast collection of extant session recordings.
It includes highlights from the studio sessions, from the single "Love in This World" to all the tracks from the album, as well as rare outtakes and acetate recordings of previously unreleased tracks like "Soul Blues," "Gold Painted Nails," and "Majesty's Honky Tonk."
