The 50th Anniversary Collector's Edition of "Satanic Majesties," released by the Rolling Stones in 1967 during the heyday of psychedelia, following in the footsteps of the Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's," is now available on the GOLDPLATE label!
Despite being the Stones' most unique album and drawing mixed reviews from the start, it reached No. 3 in the UK and No. 2 in the US. It features classics that are still performed live today, such as "She's a Rainbow" and "2000 Light Years Away," and session features Nicky Hopkins on piano, as well as John Paul Jones of later Led Zeppelin and John and Paul from the Beatles.

This is the ultimate collector's edition, delivered on two DVDs, featuring previously unreleased, precious surviving session recordings and newly edited footage.

The two-DVD set includes a video released in 2017 recreating the entire album with psychedelic collages and lyrics, as well as three promotional videos produced during this period.

The set also includes a chronological slideshow of the vast array of surviving session recordings.

Unlike the CD's highlight compilation, this set contains a total of seven and a half hours of rare recordings documenting the studio sessions from that time.

The jam sessions not featured on the album also feature intriguing performances reminiscent of the band's follow-up album, "Beggars Banquet."

The DVD's convenient editing makes it easy to select the numerous alternate takes from the menu, making this the definitive edition, fully compiling the vast array of surviving recordings from the Satanic Sessions, a legacy that has long been considered a stumbling block for Stones collectors.
