[Complete Excellent Audience Source Of Legendary Recorded Live at Paris - Pavillon, Paris, France, June 7, 1976]

While previous releases, such as VGP, have been limited to incomplete live soundboard recordings or mixes of incomplete live SB recordings and audience recordings, this new, excellent, complete audience recording has been unearthed. This release captures the day's performances in the highest quality, spanning two CDs as the final, complete version.

This release features audience recordings from the June 7th performance, the final show of the 1976 European tour in Paris, a tour that has been famous since the vinyl era. The four-night performance at Abattoir in Paris, June 4th-7th, was a highlight of the European tour, as evidenced by its inclusion on the live album "Love You Live" released the following year in 1977, despite the performances from the second day onward being replaced and overdubbed. With the video digest broadcast on television and the full pro-shot version of the 6th performance leaked, the overall material is extremely rich. The 7th performance also features a full-length audience recording, a nearly full-length soundboard recording of all tracks except "Angie," and a separate master soundboard recording from "Happy" onward, excluding Billy Preston's two tracks. These have been released separately in the past, and there are also titles combining the soundboard and audience recordings, including a SODD release titled "PARIS PAR EXCELLENCE." This release is a full-length audience recording, and many fans consider it to be the best of the best. This 2010 edition has been remastered to reduce hiss and slightly tone down the highs for a more subdued sound, while also addressing issues such as minor blanks in the index section. The artwork, like the previous release, retains the design of the vinyl title of the same name, and the back cover also pays homage to the vinyl title.
