"VOODOO LOUNGE" was released in 1994 after the shocking departure of original member and bassist Bill Wyman.
The sparse sound, in stark contrast to the sound of their previous album, "STEEL WHEELS," drew mixed reviews at the time, but listening to it now, the album's bold interpretation of the blues, their roots, is simply amazing.
